Join us for our second online workshop in our journey to create a brand-new community song for Makaton International Awareness Day 2026, in collaboration with the award-winning charity Electric Umbrella.
During this session, we will share the song inspired by the ideas from the first workshop and continue shaping it together. Participants will help refine the lyrics, signs and musical moments that will bring the song to life.
This workshop may also include community recording elements, where participants may have the opportunity to sing or sign parts of the song that could be included in the final track or video.
You do not need to have attended the first workshop to take part. New participants are very welcome to join and share their ideas.
As with the first session, Makaton users will be at the heart of the creative process, with families, carers and supporters welcome to attend and support.
The ideas and contributions from the session will help shape the final version of the song, celebrating the theme of “Together” for Makaton International Awareness Day 2026.
