You're invited to a very special online celebration as we come together to watch the official premiere of The Makaton Song and music video, created in collaboration with Electric Umbrella for Makaton International Awareness Day.
This year's theme is Together, and there's no better way to celebrate than by sharing this exciting moment with the incredible community that helped make it happen. Makaton users are at the heart of this project—from inspiring and helping to create the song during our songwriting workshops to bringing it to life through their amazing performances in the music video.
We can't wait to hear your voices, see your signing, and celebrate everything we've achieved together. During this online watch party, we'll enjoy the first public screening of The Makaton Song and its official music video, celebrate the wonderful contributions from Makaton users and supporters, and reflect on the power of communication, creativity and inclusion. There may even be a few surprises along the way! This is an interactive event, so some attendees may be invited to appear on screen or be spotlighted during the celebration.

We are so excited to welcome our community to celebrate Makaton International Awareness Day and the launch of The Makaton Song with us live!
Our Zoom room has space for up to 500 people, so entry on the day will be on a first come, first served basis.
Attendance is voluntary, and participants are responsible for protecting their privacy when contributing. The Makaton Charity will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and welcoming environment, but cannot control the actions of individual participants. Everyone is expected to behave respectfully and in line with our values, and anyone behaving inappropriately towards others will be removed from the meeting.
Can't join us live? Don't worry! Everyone will be able to watch the celebration afterwards, and we’ll let everyone who has registered know when the recording is ready.
